Painting in the Redwoods in February of 2008.

Here's a collection of new & old paintings done throughout Laguna Beach and around various parts of Oregon. These are all done in oil on location, I DO NOT work from photographs unless i'm working larger than 3x4 feet. As of now no prints of my work exist so everything you see here is an original and one of a kind.

Just about all of these painting were done this year, and over half are from just this month alone. Several of these are from the Montage resort in Laguna Beach, i have been painting there for the last 2 weeks straight from sun up to sun down. I am madly in love with the views there but i think it's time to venture elsewhere. There's a lot of other land to be painted! ~jel

My first time painting in Carmel. I only lasted about an hour or so. The wind gusts were over 40 miles an hour and freezing, but it couldn't stop me from painting this amazing tree.
